A Lincoln County judge says attorneys should reargue whether a murder accomplice's statements to police should be suppressed at trial. Judge Glenn Hartley says prosecutors in this case should have had a chance to appeal a ruling in a related case from Oneida County last fall.

The judge in Oneida County says police violated Katie Decker's rights by questioning her even after she invoked her right to silence.

Decker is charged as an accomplice in the April 2007 murder of Tracy Maurer at her Tomahawk apartment. Hartley says the law requires him to hear arguments later this month even though there's a previous ruling. A motion hearing is set for March 27th. Decker will go on trial April 27th.
