Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky returned to the lineup last night and scored 22 points, leading the Badgers to a 70-55 win over Nebraska in Big Ten men’s basketball action at the Kohl Center.
Kaminsky hit 7 of 11 shots from the field and found his stroke from distance, hitting 4 of 5 shots from three-point range. Kaminsky also added five rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 30 minutes of playing time. He missed the teams last game, a loss at Rutgers after suffering a concussion.
The Badgers (16-2, 4-1) also played their first game without point guard Traevon Jackson, who will miss at least the next six weeks with a broken foot. Bronson Koenig scored 11 points in a team high 37 minutes.

The Badgers moved into a tie with Maryland for first place in the Big Ten. Nebraska (10-7, 2-3) dropped into a tie for 9th place.
Nigel Hayes had 13 points and seven rebounds and Sam Dekker added 11 points and six rebounds.
Junior guard Terran Petteway hit 11 of 20 shots and finished with 27 points, but only seven after halftime for the Cornhuskers.
