For a team where losing has become the norm, the Milwaukee Bucks had a night to celebrate.  Brandon Knight’s 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds left gave the Bucks a 101-98 victory over the New York Knicks and brought an end to their 6-game losing streak.

The Bucks (9-39) scored on five of their last six possessions.  Knight led the way with 25 points and Khris Middleton added 19.  Rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo added 15 points, with 8 of his 15 coming in the fourth quarter.  Giannis’ big night came with his family in attendance, watching him play in the NBA for the first time after arriving from Greece on Sunday.

If having his family around helped Antetokounmpo, then he should be looking at some positive developments the rest of the season.  The family is here for good and will live with Giannis.  Until this week, the 19-year old rookie hasn’t seen his family for five months.

The Bucks also ended a 7-game losing streak against the Knicks.  The Bucks play at Denver on Wednesday night.
