Jerry Kramer’s pursuit of a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame will continue for at least another year. The former Green Bay Packers great was denied the chance to be enshrined when the Hall of Fame’s Senior Committee selected Ken Stabler and Dick Stanfel as its nominees for 2016.
In April, when Kramer participated in the Packers’ annual tailgate Tour, Kramer seemed to be OK with the fact that he hasn’t been able to find his way into the Hall of Fame and may never get there.
Kramer said he was pretty emotional about it 30 years ago when his guys went in.
“I’m very comfortable with where I am and if the Hall comes along, it’d be great,” said Kramer. “If it doesn’t come along, life is great.
