The Big Ten's leading scorer, Jolene Anderson got off to a slow start and the Badgers fell to the Minnesota Gophers in Minneapolis 71-53 on Sunday afternoon.
More than 11-thousand fans showed up at Williams Arena for the border battle to witness the game.
Anderson scored 16 points, but missed her first 9-shots from the field. The Badgers fell to 12-4 overall, 1-2 in the Big Ten.
