The Wisconsin women’s basketball team posted a season-low shooting percentage and fell to number-23 Gonzaga 70-55 at the Kohl Center in Madison on Tuesday night.
The Badgers finished the night with a season-low 17 field goals, hitting just 32% from the field. Wisconsin shot just 22.7% (5 of 22) beyond the arc in the loss.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a quick 10-2 lead, but the Badgers went on a 10-0 run to take a 12-10 lead and took a 29-28 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Morgan Paige finished the night with a game-high 19 points. The senior is just five points away from 1,000 for her career.
The Badgers travel to Seattle to face Washington on Friday night.
