Photo: Wisconsin Dells CVB On June 9th of last year, heavy rains caused a breach in the shoreline of Lake Delton. The resulting flood carried most of the lake into the Wisconsin River, carrying away several homes and a county highway with it.

One year later, the breach has been repaired and the water has returned to the lake.

Tom Diehl of the Tommy Bartlett Show says it's been amazing to see everything come together in the past year, after state leaders sprung into action to restore the man-made body of water.

Local business and tourism leaders will be joined by state officials today, as they celebrate the restoration of the lake. Events include a boat parade, the release of 9,000 walleye fingerlings, and two free shows at the Tommy Bartlett attraction.
