TJ Lang is entering his 4th NFL season with the Green Bay Packers and he’s

looking forward to finally anchoring one spot on the offensive line.
Lang has started games at left tackle, left guard and right tackle in his first three seasons with the team. He won the job at left guard during 2011 training camp and kept it all season. But this year, Lang goes into camp knowing the left guard spot is his to lose.
Lang actually began his college career at Eastern Michigan as a defensive lineman, but he converted to the offensive line as a sophomore. He went on to start 36 straight games over his final three collegiate seasons.
Lang is one of just two Green Bay offensive linemen to start all 16 games in 2011 (15 at LG and 1 at RT).
Lang will have to get used to a new center after veteran Jeff Saturday signed a free agent deal to replace Scott Wells who departed for St. Louis in free agency.
Lang also is in a contract year. He said he’s had a brief discussion with his agent about the matter. Lang said if the Packers want to talk, that would be great. If they don’t, T.J. said he’s focussed on football and that’s fine as well.

The Packers have padded workouts set for today through Thursday. The first three days are 8:15 start times. Thursday’s workout is set for 7pm, the first night-time practice of training camp.
The Packers will hold their annual Family Night Scrimmage this Friday at Lambeau Field.
