The Brewers bats woke up in the top of the 9th Monday at Wrigley Field as Milwaukee notched a 5-0 win over the Chicago Cubs.
The Brewers managed just 3-hits in the first 8-innings but surpassed that total with 4-hits in the 9th. Carlos Gomez broke the scoreless tie with an RBI Single. After that, Jeff Bianchi and Rickie Weeks each clubbed two-run doubles to pad the lead.
