Governor Doyle spent a couple of days in Washington this week working with Obama Administration officials on efforts to combat climate change.

Doyle hasn't mentioned the price tag though of those efforts, and Republican state Representative Jim Ott of Mequon wonders what it will take to combat so-called "global warming" in the years ahead.

Ott, a former broadcast meteorologist, thinks the whole campaign against global warming, or climate change, is misguided. He says efforts to fight the perceived problem will just result in higher energy costs for consumers.

He points out that while Doyle was in DC they had a lot of snow and some pretty cold temperatures in the nation's Capitol.
