University of Wisconsin early enrollee quarterback Kare’ Lyles will not participate in spring practice while recovering from a left hip injury.
The three-star prospect from Arizona, Lyles is one of just three scholarship quarterbacks on the Badgers’ current roster along with fifth-year senior Bart Houston and redshirt freshman Alex Hornibrook. The Badgers are trying to replace four-year starter Joel Stave this offseason.
Linebacker Dallas Jeanty will now be the only early enrollee expected to participate in spring practice.
