Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Shaun Marcum said he does not expect to miss his first start of the regular season.

Marcum pitched for the first time this spring in a minor league game after originally being set back by shoulder inflammation.  Marcum went two-innings, allowing one hit, a home run, with no walks and two strikeouts.

Marcum said he expected to make his first regular-season start against the Cubs in Chicago April 9th or 10th.

Corey Hart

Outfielder Corey Hart was making his return from knee surgery, but he hurt himself again on Tuesday.

Hart needed 8 stitches to close a cut on his head after a weight-room accident.  Hart was working out on a weight machine when an overhead metal bar snapped back and whacked him on the head.

Hart missed most of training camp last spring with a strained oblique that forced him to go on the DL at the start of the season.
