The Marquette Golden Eagles road woes continued last night, falling to St. John’s 60-57 at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.
Matt Carlino helped turn a five point deficit into an eight point lead in the second half, but then he went cold, missing his final six shots. Carlino finished with 21 points to lead Marquette.
The Golden Eagles (10-8, 2-4 Big East) are winless on the road, despite holding St. John’s leading scorer, D’Angelo Harrison to 11-points on 3 of 18 shooting.
The Red Storm improved to 13-5 overall, 2-4 in Big East play.
