The Marquette Golden Eagles entered Wednesday nights game with Grambling State ranked 336th in the country in three-point shooting accuracy, hitting just 26.5% from distance in the first six games of the season.
Against Grambling State, the Golden Eagles hit 13 of 17 from distance with junior Jujuan Johnson making a perfect four-for-four.
The Golden Eagles went on to cruise to an easy 95-49 victory. Johnson led Marquette with 20 points. Henry Ellenson added 16 points and eight rebounds, Luke Fischer had 14 points, Duane Wilson eleven and Sandy Cohen ten points.
Marquette returns to action on Saturday, playing host to Maine at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
