The Marquette Golden Eagles ended Wisconsin’s 23-game home court win streak, knocking off the Badgers 61-54 at the Kohl Center in Madison on Saturday.

Darius Johnson-Odom scored 17 points and freshman Todd Mayo added 14 as Marquette remains unbeaten at 7-0.

Jordan Taylor scored 13 for the Badgers, who dropped their second straight game and fell to 6-2.

Marquette played without point guard Junior Cadougan, suspending him before the game for an unspecified violation of team rules.  Cadougan will return for the Washington game on Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles out-rebounded the Badgers 44-32.  They also held Wisconsin to just 32% shooting (5 of 19) from 3-point range.  The Badgers struggled from long distance in the loss to North Carolina last Wednesday as well.

Vander Blue had 9 points and 8 rebounds in his return to Madison.  He was booed heavily before the game by Badger fans.  Blue looked like he was headed for Madison before changing his mind and committing to Marquette instead.

The Badgers return to the Kohl Center on Wednesday night, hosting the Green Bay Phoenix.
