Jae Crowder scored 25 points to lead No. 21 Marquette to a 96-66 win over Mississippi in the Paradise Jam semifinals on Sunday night. Darius Johnson-Odom added 20 for the Golden Eagles (4-0).
Marquette plays in the Paradise Jam Championship tonight against Norfolk State, a 66-53 winner over TCU.
UW-Milwaukee
UW-Milwaukee pushed its record to start the season to 4-0, rolling to a 73-38 win over Texas Southern in Milwaukee on Sunday. Kaylon Williams had 17 points to lead the Panthers.
The road for the Panthers gets tougher this week. They play at Michigan State on Wednesday.
