Marshfield police found a man and his two young children dead inside their home on the city's northeast side Sunday night. A statement from Chief of Police Joe Stroik states that the Wood County Dispatch Center received a call from a man at 10:18 P.M. During that call, the man stated that his kids were gone and that he would soon follow them. Officers who responded to the home could not contact anyone inside. Marshfield Emergency Response Officers forcibly entered the home and found three people deceased. The Wood County Coroners Office was called in to determine the cause and time of the deaths while Marshfield officers processed the crime scene and collected evidence. The deceased are one 54 year old man, his 4 year old son and 8 year old daughter. [from Dale Yakaites, WDLB]
