Masthay placed four of his five punts inside the 20-yard line in the Packers
38-35 win at the New York Giants last Sunday. Masthay had a net average of 44.2 yards per punt and allowed zero return yards. The only punt that wasn’t downed inside the 20-yard line was a 55-yarder from his own 20-yard line.
Other than a slow start for the first few weeks of the season, Masthay has been in a pretty good groove. Now he takes his game into the cold. The Packers will play 3 of their final 4 regular season games at Lambeau Field. But Masthay said he doesn’t run from the cold, he embraces the elements.
