Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy started interviewing candidates for the teams vacant offensive coordinator position this week.

The position opened up when Jeff Jagodzinski left after just one season to become the head coach at Boston College.

McCarthy said his preference was that his new offensive coordinator have experience in the zone-blocking system.

McCarthy said he's already interviewed someone from outside the organization, while Packers offensive line coach Joe Philbin and quarterbacks coach Tom Clements are two in-house candidates that are expected to get interviews.
