Two members of the Green Bay Packers are headed for surgery this week.Linebacker Nick Barnett will undergo surgery on his injured wrist and tight end Jermichael Finley will have surgery on his knee.  At his Monday news conference, Mike McCarthy said they won’t know a timetable on Barnett until they actually perform the surgery.  The coach said he’d be surprised if Finley’s surgery is season-ending.

Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion and McCarthy said at the very least, he’ll miss some practice time this week.  Rodgers will have to undergo a series of tests before he can be cleared to practice and play.  McCarthy said it’s possible that Rodgers could miss the teams home game against Miami on Sunday.

The news on Clay Matthews hamstring injury is good.  McCarthy said they believe it’s just a strain and not as serious as he’s undergone in the past.

Ryan Pickett suffered an ankle injury, but no timetable was offered for his return.  Safety/Special teams player Derrick Martin will miss at least a couple of weeks with a knee sprain.
