Phil Mickelson is back in the PGA Tour winners circle for the first time since May after winning the Deutsche Bank tournament by two shots over Tiger Woods, Brett Wetterich and Aaron Oberholser.

Mickelson played head to head with Tiger Woods and won for the first time ever under that format.  He birdied 18 to finish strong and move into the FedEx Cup points standings.

Madison's Steve Stricker finished in a tie for 9th at 8-under par, 8-shots behind Mickelson.  That leaves Stricker in second place in the FedEx standings with two events left to play.
