The Midwest League’s All-Star Game is set for tonight in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Both the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Beloit Snappers have four players on the Western Division All-Star Team.
The Timber Rattlers making the trip to Fort Wayne are; pitchers Nick Bucci & Jake Odorizzi, along with outfielder Khris Davis and 2nd baseman Scooter Gennett. Davis and Gennett will get the start for the West squad.
The Beloit Snappers making the West All-Stars include; outfielder Aaron Hicks, 3rd baseman Anderson Hidlago, and pitchers Tom Stuifbergen & Kane Holbrooks. Hicks & Hidalgo will be in the starting lineups.
Both teams will begin the 2nd half of the Midwest League season on Friday.
