Reserve catcher Damian Miller tied a team record by driving in 7 runs in the Milwaukee Brewers 10-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates in their series opener in Pittsburgh on Monday night.

Miller put the Brewers in front early with a 2-run homer, then capped off a 7-run 7th with a grand slam to push the Brewers to the win.  Miller finished with four hits on the night and has now driven in 11 runs in the last two games.  As a team, the Brewers have hit 6 grand slams on the season, which leads the Major Leagues.

Starter Jeff Suppan left after five innings with a high pitch count and the score tied at 3.  Carlos Villanueva came on to pitch four scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win and improve his record to 6-0.

Corey Hart also delivered a run scoring double, extending his hitting streak to 18-games.

The Brewers maintain their 6 1/2 game lead on the Cubs atop the NL Central with the Cubs winning again on Monday night.
