A Milwaukee man has been arrested in the shooting deaths of a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman on Wednesday. Police chief Ed Flynn said a fight involving the suspects, the victims and another man was captured on a video, along with the subsequent shootings.

The 39-year-old suspect worked as a maintenance man at the north side apartment building where the shootings occurred. He’s jailed on possible charges of 1st degree intentional homicide.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the shooting took place shortly before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of North 27th Street. Flynn said the argument led to a physical altercation during which the maintenance man was being held while one of the three beat him with a baseball bat. The maintenance man then pulled a handgun and shot the teens. Flynn said the teens did not live in the building, but had an acquaintance who lived there. Flynn said the witness video of the attack and shooting is not being released at this time.
