Montee Ball

Ball was attacked by five men early this morning in Madison.

Ball suffered head injuries that required hospital treatment.  Ball was released from the hospital and is now under the care of UW Sports Medicine.

A Madison police report says Ball was attacked around 2:15 a.m. in the 500 block of University Avenue. 

Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema said in a statement, “My concern right now is for Montee’s health and well-being.” 

“We will continue to evaluate him as we approach the start of fall camp this weekend.  I do expect Montee to make a full recovery.”
