The Milwaukee Brewers fell behind 9-2 yesterday, came all the way back to tie and then lost 10-9 on Justin Morneau's walkoff home run.
The Brewers homered five times, two by Corey Hart, and one each from J.J. Hardy and Tony Graffanino and a inside-the-park home run from Prince Fielder.
On the mound, Brewers veteran right hander Jeff Suppan continued his recent struggles, falling to 2-5 with a 6.75 ERA in his last 8 starts.
Fielder's inside-the-park homer came in the 9th when he hit a long fly ball to center off of Twins closer Joe Nathan. Minnesota center fielder Lew Ford lost sight of the ball in the backdropof the white ceiling with the ball landing a considerable distance away. Fielder scored standing at the plate.
Morneau's walkoff game-winner came off of reliever Chris Spurling on a 1-0 pitch to lead off the bottom of the 9th. That home run, allowed the Twins to salvage the final game of the series and allowed the Brewers to have a 5-4 road trip. They're back home to host the Giants tonight.
