According to a report in the Green Bay Press Gazette this morning, the Green Bay Packers have targeted former NFL player and current Northwestern Athletic Director Mark Murphy as the teams next President and CEO, replacing Bob Harlan.

The Packers have reportedly begun contract negotiations with Murphy but their 45 person Board of Directors will have to confirm him for the position with a majority vote before the hiring could become official.

Murphy would become the 10th head of the Packers organization.
