Carl Edward won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Elkhart Lake on Saturday.  NASCAR was making its first ever stop at the historic 4-plus mile road course, staying in Wisconsin after the Milwaukee Mile race was cancelled.   Edwards finished first and Ron Fellows was 2nd.  Besides Edwards, NASCAR Sprint Cup regulars Paul Menard and Brad Keslowski shuffled between Elkhart Lake and California, where the Cup race was being held.  Kewlowski ended up 4th, and Menard was 16th.  NASCAR has not announced if they will return to Road America in 2011.

Jimmie Johnson won the Sprint Cup race at Sonoma on Sunday.  Eau Claire’s Paul Menard was 22nd, Janesville’s Travis Kvapil was 24th and Cambridge’s Matt Kenseth was 30th.
