The NASCAR Nationwide Series comes to Road America in Elkhart Lake Saturday for the Bucyrus 200. This marks the first time NASCAR will be racing on the four-plus mile road course.
Earlier in the week NASCAR Nationwide Owner and Sprint Cup Driver Dale Earnhardt JR. was in Sheboygan for an event. He sees the track as being a good fit for the Nationwide Series:

With the status of the Milwaukee Mile, many NASCAR fans were not sure in the series would return to Wisconsin in 2010. It has and Earnhardt is happy for Wisconsin race fans. He also talked about the history of Wisconsin racing:

There will be two afternoon practice sessions at Road America on Friday with qualifying Saturday morning. Because it is a road race, the event will go on rain or shine. Flag drops at 2:00 PM.
