A neighbor of a Janesville murder victim says he recorded the confrontation between police and the suspect late Tuesday night. Janesville police have confirmed that Casey Strain has provided them with his audio recording of William Davis being taken into custody – a recording in which the sound of police tazers being deployed is audible. Davis, the suspect in the death of Joseph Hanson, is being held on an emergency detention pending an evaluation. Strain says he hasn’t slept since the murder.
