Manufacturers can't seem to keep with the demand for Milwaukee Brewers NL Wild Card shirts and hats. The items are starting to trickle into stores statewide. Derek Granitz with "Name of the Game" in Madison says demand for Brewers merchandise has been strong all season long, but the gear has been sizzling lately. He says people are "really excited" and most of his business since the weekend has been selling Brew Crew apparel.
"It's fun to be a Brewer fan again; it's cool to be a Brewer fan again," says Granitz.
He says sales of the team's merchandise have been as strong, if not stronger, than Packers and Badgers gear.
