The Green campaign is out with a new attack against Governor Doyle's record on tribal casinos. A new TV attack ad from Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Green's campaign accuses Democratic Governor Jim Doyle of flip-flopping on tribal casino issues, after the tribes donated millions towards his campaign. Green campaign manager Mark Graul says Doyle dropped a position that the legislature should have a say in gaming compacts, after the tribes spent nearly $2 million on his campaign. Graul suspects millions more are being spent by groups that aren't required to disclose where their funding comes from.

Doyle campaign spokesman Anson Kaye fired back, saying Green has benefited from federal legislation that has hurt Wisconsin residents. He points to Green's approval in Congress of tax breaks for drug companies.
