If you’re going to the Packers game Friday night, you’ll need to follow new restrictions on what’s allowed inside the stadium. Green Bay police Lieutenant Kevin Warych said only a certain kind of bag will be allowed in Lambeau Field. “The bags need to be either a one-gallon clear plastic bag, or a bag that does not exceed 12 inches by six inches by 12 inches,” he said. “For women, a purse can only be the size of their hand, like a small clutch purse.”
In addition, only certain type of seat pad will be allowed. “The seat pad cannot have any zippers, straps, or any place where they can conceal something in it,” said Warych. Warych recommends getting to the game early – there will likely be a delay getting in. The Packers are taking on the Arizona Cardinals to kick off the pre-season.

According to a flyer from the Packers outlining new NFL stadium safety enhancements, bags and seats that do not meet the guidelines will not be allowed into the gates. No exceptions will be made, unless items are medically necessary (for which a “special exceptions” gate will be provided).
