conversation, although it’s met with negative reaction from players around the league.  League commissioner Roger Goodell told Green Bay Packers shareholders said there’s been some negative reaction from players.

Players are concerned about wearing down.  Goodell believes they have some answers for that.  The commissioner said organized team activities (OTA’s) could be altered or eliminated.  Training Camp could be reduced.  Restrictions and limitations could be put in place for practices and roster sizes could be adjusted.

Goodell said an 18-game regular season would have to be negotiated in a new collective bargaining agreement and couldn’t likely begin until the 2012 season.
