Wausau police complete their investigation into a deadly duplex fire which killed three young children. Chief Jeff Hardel says the cause of the September fire remains a mystery. But Hardel says there are some things they investigation has revealed: the fire was not electrical or accidental. "The only thing we've not been able to rule out is some type of human element" says Hardel, although there's no evidence to show the fire was a criminal act.

The fire started in a first-floor master bedroom. Survivors say they did not hear a smoke alarm mounted on a bedroom wall go off. The blaze killed 9-year-old Michael Block, 8-year-old Mackenize Block and 2-year-old Faith Fondie.
