The Northwoods League surpassed one-million fans this season, the first time they’ve reached that milestone.

Following the games on August 6, the league moved past a million (1,023,970) for the 2014 season.  The number tops the previous high during the 2012 season when 945,861 fans passed through the gates.

The Northwoods League also became the first collegiate summer league to reach the milestone.

The Madison Mallards continue to lead the league in attendance, drawing 214,849 fans this season.  That’s an average of 6,139 fans a game.
