Andrew Obregon waived his preliminary hearing in Kenosha County Intake Court Friday, and may never go on trial on nearly 30 charges.
Obregon is accused of the murder of Tywon Anderson, whose body was found in a town of Paris corn field in September, and of a crime spree in Kenosha and Racine Counties that lasted more than two weeks.
Obregon entered pleas of not guilty to all of the charges, pending the outcome of those negotiations. The case has been assigned to Judge Chad Kerman, and Obregon is next scheduled to appear in court January 21st.
After the hearing, Quantisha Etinne, who had a daughter with the victim, said the 10 year old misses her father.
Obregon is also facing a car theft charge in Racine County, and several charges in Lake County Illinois where he was finally arrested.
