during the first scrimmage of fall camp on Monday.

A big part of the offense’s problem was the Badger defense.  The movement and the blitzing disrupted things for the Badgers.

The Badgers also committed four turnovers (all fumbles).

Coach Gary Anderson went into the scrimmage with a three-man race at quarterback. When the dust settled, Anderson had a better idea of the position battle, between Curt Phillips, Joel Stave and Tanner McEvoy.

Phillips and Stave both performed well, but McEvoy struggled as he continues to try to catch up.
