The Milwaukee Brewers avoided a 3-game sweep by the Reds in Cincinnati on Sunday, pulling out a 4-1 win. Tomo Ohka worked 8-innings, allowing just 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 7 in the win. Ohka improved to 3-1 on the season with the win. His only blemish was an 8th inning homer to Brandon Phillips. Brady Clark singled home a pair of runs in the second to give the Brewers the early 2-0 lead. The Brewers won for just the 3rd time in the last 12 games. Dan Kolb has taken over the closers role for now. He worked the 9th Sunday to pick up the save. Derrick Turnbow lost the closers job for now after blowing 5-straight save opportunities. Prince Fielder and Carlos Lee also had run scoring singles in the win. The Brewers went 3-6 on their 9-game trip. They return home to host the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight.
