The Green Bay Packers wrapped up the NFC North Division title with Sunday's 38-7 win over the Oakland Raiders.  They're in the playoffs for the first time in three years.

The Packers still have to win more games to guarantee at least the second seed in the NFC playoffs and a first round bye.  But given their final three opponents, St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit, it appears to be a done deal.

What that leaves us with is Packers and Cowboys.  That's all that matters right now.  The Packers need to finish out the string, win their games like we all assume they'll do easily, and hit the playoffs running.

They'll have a week off to rest up and prepare for a second round home game.  Then it's the NFC Championship game.

People are trying to sell me on the possibility that perhaps Dallas and Green Bay may not be the final two teams standing in the NFC.  I'm not buying it.  Why would anyone think different.  The Packers and Cowboys are both clearly the two best teams in the conference and appear to be on a crash course for a rematch of the game played two weeks ago in Dallas.

The playoff and divisional chase is history.  The only thing left to look forward to is Packers/Cowboys with the winner headed to the Super Bowl.

It's hard to believe, but the Packers have been so good this year that they've turned the end of the season into a non-event.  That's good for the Packers, but it only leaves us with some real uneventful football games down the stretch.
