The Green Bay Packers took advantage of three New Orleans turnovers and jumped out to a 13-0 lead over the Saints. But New Orleans scored the next 20 points and went on to beat the Packers 34-27. Drew Brees threw for 353 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers, who couldn't seem to do much right after establishing their early lead. Dropped passes, fumbles, penalties, many of them commited by veteran players. Brett Favre threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns, but his only interception in the third quarter when the Packers had the ball at the Saints 7-yard line, was costly. Ahman Green couldn't seem to catch a pass and he also fumbled the ball away. The Packers managed to rush for just 63 yards and Green, who rushed for 110-yards in the season opener against the Bears, had just 42 yards on 16 carries on Sunday. A big day defensively for Aaron Kampman. He had a career high 3-sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery. The Packers have now dropped back to back home games and start the season 0-2. They'll face the Lions in Detroit on Sunday.
