Aaron KampmanThe Green Bay Packers were busy negotiating with veteran left tackle Chad Clifton but couldn’t reach a deal yesterday, so Clifton became a free agent and is expected to visit with the Washington Redskins today.

The Redskins need a left tackle after injuries forced Chris Samuels to retire.  Clifton and Samuels share the same agent, Jimmy Sexton.

Defensive end Aaron Kampman (pictured) also became an unrestricted free agent late Thursday night and various reports indicate that he could be headed for a visit with the Seattle Seahawks.

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times reported that Seattle may already be working on a deal with Kampman’s agent.
