The NFC today named Green Bay Packers’ kicker Mason Crosby the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Crosby booted a pair of field goals from 49 and 56 yards in the Packers
27-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.  The 56 field goal on the final play of the first half, is the longest in team history, surpassing the 54 yard field goals previously made by Chris Jacke, Ryan Longwell and Dave Rayner.

This is Crosby’s second career Player of the Week award.
