If you like football with your turkey, you should like today's Packers/Lions matchup at Ford Field in Detroit. The two teams will kick it off at Ford Field at 11:30am.
The key to this football game is Lions quarterback Jon Kitna. He's been sacked a league high 43 times going into the game, which bodes well for the Packers defense. But if the Packers can't get enough pressure on Kitna, the Lions have some big time receivers to make plays. They're led by veteran Roy Williams and rookie Calvin Johnson.
The Lions also have seen their running game fall off considerably. Over the last two games, they have team rushing totals of -18 and 25 yards. That puts even more pressure on the offensive line to protect Jon Kitna.
The Packers can't wrap up the North Division title with a win today, but they'd be close. Green Bay (9-1) comes in having won 5-straight games.
Ryan Grant, who suffered a sprained ankle in the win over Carolina last week, says he's fit and ready to go this week against the Lions.
This is the first of two meetings against the Lions. The two teams will meet back at Lambeau Field on December 30th in the final regular season game.
