The Green Bay Packers could have acquired tight end Tony Gonzalez from Kansas City yesterday, but they weren't willing to part with a second round draft pick.
Several media outlets reported that the Packers had a 3rd round selection on the table, but instead, the Chiefs elected to keep Gonzalez around.
The NFL trade deadline ended at 3pm central time on Wednesday.
