Packers logoThe Green Bay Packers intercepted Nick Foles four times to hold off the St. Louis Rams 24-10 on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Rookie Quentin Rollins registered two of the four interceptions and returned the first of his two picks 45-yards for a touchdown.

The Packers defense not only sacked Foles three times but hit him a total of 12 times, holding Foles to 141 passing yards and a quarterback rating of 23.8.

Aaron Rodgers threw for two touchdowns but was also picked off twice.  It is the first time Rodgers has thrown an interception at Lambeau Field since December of 2012 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Rodgers two touchdown passes were to rookie Ty Montgomery (31 yards) and veteran James Jones (65 yards).  But Rodgers lost a fumble for a three turnover day.

The Packers couldn’t run the ball against the Rams.  Rodgers was the leading ball carrier, rushing eight times for 39 yards.  Eddie Lacy rushed 13 times for 27 yards and James Starks had five carries for only 17 yards.  Lacy and Starks combined for 44 yards on 18 carries.

I participated with Sports Director Bill Pollock a short time ago discussing Sunday’s Packers/Rams game.
