The Green Bay Packers improved to 9-0 on the season with a 45-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field.  The win also extended the Packers franchise record winning streak to 15-games.

Aaron Rodgers continued his MVP pace tossing for 250-yards and 4-scores.  Rodgers now has over 2800-yards and 28-touchdowns on the season.  Jordy Nelson was Rodger’s favorite target in the game; Nelson caught 5-balls for 63-yards and 2-TDs.  Rodgers talks about Nelson…

Randall Cobb had a roller coaster night in the return game.  After Minnesota went 3-and-out on their first possession, Cobb returned a punt 80-yards for a score.  He became the first Packer since 1998 (Roell Preston) to return a punt and kickoff for a score in the same season.  Later in the game, Cobb mishandled a punt giving Minnesota the ball with a short field which they turned into their only score of the night.

Defensively, the Packers may have had their best performance of the season.  After giving up over 400-yards each of the last 3-weeks, the Packers held the Vikings to just 266-yards in the game.  Clay Matthews recorded 2 of Green Bay’s 3-sacks in the game while Tramon Williams picked off Vikings QB Christian Ponder for this 2nd interception of the season.  Overall, head coach Mike McCarthy was happy with his team:
