Tuesday and re-signed with the Green Bay Packers.

Flynn becomes the seventh unrestricted free agent to re-sign with the Packers.  Flynn will compete for the backup job behind Aaron Rodgers with former Badger Scott Tolzien and a rookie quarterback that will likely be added during or right after the draft.

Flynn resigned with the Packers last November and he saved the Packers when Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury.  Flynn helped the Packers rally from 16-points down to tie the Minnesota Vikings, then went 2-2 in the next four games before Rodgers returned to the lineup.

Flynn completed 61% of his passes for 1,146 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions.

The Packers could still go with Scott Tolzien as Aaron Rodgers backup, but he’ll have to beat out Flynn for the job.
