After selecting QB Brian Brohm on day 1 of the 2008 NFL draft on Saturday, the Green Bay Packers grabbed their 2nd quarterback by picking LSU's Matt Flynn (pictured) with the first of three, 7th round picks (209th overall).
Flynn has appeared in a total of 50 games at LSU, including 33 as a quarterback, starting 12 games at that position. He completed 245-437 passes (56.1%) for 3,096 yards, 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
As a senior. Flynn started five of the team's first six games, but an ankle injury in the second game against Virginia Tech would limit his mobility the rest of the season. He threw for over 2,400 yards, 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
*The Packers also selected WR Brett Swain out of San Diego State with the 2nd of their three 7th round picks, #217 overall.
