A Green Bay Packer is free on signature bond, after appearing in court Wednesday on a domestic disorderly conduct charge. Cornerback Brandon Underwood is accused of ripping a necklace from his wife’s neck, pulling her out of a car and throwing her to the ground in the driveway of their Green Bay home. Court records say the incident happened just hours after the Packers Super Bowl ring ceremony on June 16th. The necklace was given to the players’ wives. Underwood’s wife, Brandie, had filed for divorce in May, and records say Brandon Underwood told an officer he was upset because he wanted to be the one to decide whether to give her the necklace. His wife was in court with Underwood and she said they’re trying to save their marriage. Brandie Underwood said she’s not afraid of her husband, and lives with him.

It’s not the first time the 25-year-old Underwood has been in trouble. He pleaded no contest to a prostitution charge for an incident last summer at a Lake Delton resort.
